With much pride we distinguish María Gavrilov (10th B), Shin Young Park (10th B), Ignacio Arenas (10°th A) and Miss Antonia Ortega –all from Lo Barnechea campus- for qualifying as a team to the final of the “Economía + cerca” contest of the Central Bank in the 9th to 10th grade category.

The Lintac team has been one of the three chosen of a total of 164 videos done by 520 students throughout almost all the country for this final stage. The videos were selected upon a jury conformed among others by the President of the Central Bank and the Minister of Finance. The objective of the video was to respond in a simple, close and creative way the question “How does the price stability contribute to the welfare of the population?”

On next Wednesday, November 15th at noon (12.00 p.m.) the results will be announced through a live stream of the website www.economiamascerca.cl. The winner of the contest will receive an important cash prize.

Congratulations team Lintac, next Wednesday we will be cheering for you!

We distinguish as well our students who had an excellent performance in the Declamation Contest of Highlands School. In this competition – that had participants from Playgroup to Kinder of Chicureo campus – 4 out of 6 awards given were obtained, securing the first place in the English and Spanish categories. Congratulations to our students, parents and misses for this great achievement!

He traveled all the way to Perú to participate in the XXVII Club de Regatas de Lima International Cup, one of the most important and traditional youth tournaments of swimming in the continent. Agustín Rodríguez (7th B, Lo Barnechea) competed in 6 trials, obtaining two 4th places and considerably improving his time in each instance. This tournament had more than a thousand athletes from clubs of different countries such as Italy, Colombia or Paraguay.

We distinguish Agustín for representing Lintac and Chile in this competition, reflecting the work, perseverance and effort he has given to keep developing and improving in swimming. Congratulations to him and his family!

We congratulate Martina Morris (1st B, Chicureo) for her excellent participation in the artistic gymnastics tournament  Copa de Concepción 2017 held in La Serena last weekend. Along with her team she obtained the bronze medal in the floor exercise – Level 1- and the 5th place in All Around. With this, Martina closes a brilliant year full of triumphs and medals obtained in important competitions. We distinguish her talent and skills as well as her tremendous effort and dedication she has given along with her family which have made these achievements possible. Congratulations! We are very proud that you are representing us!

On this occasion we also wish to congratulate Pablo Castillo (6th A, Lo Barnechea) and Theo Bernasconi (6th B, Lo Barnechea) for being nominated to the Chilean National hockey team in the Under 12 category. Both traveled together along with the national squad to Argentina to defeat 2-1 Mendoza’s hockey team. We distinguish them for this nomination, which is a huge step for them and for hockey in our school. Also, it reflects the tremendous talent and effort given, being supported by their parents, peers and Lintac’s hockey coaches. Congratulations Pablo and Theo for this accomplishment!
